Invoice generation is the partner's responsibility, Decathlon does not generate any order invoice for partners.
For partners, there are 2 options to upload an invoice in Mirakl. The manual process or the automated process (integration via API). Depending on the method you choose, the steps will be different. Below you’ll find all the details for each method.
The goal for this feature is to send the invoice automatically to the customer through an automatic Mirakl Notification.
This will lower down the contact rate and will be thus beneficial for everyone.
OPTION 1: MANUAL UPLOAD OF AN INVOICE IN MIRAKL
- Step 1: Go to the order details page. On the right side of the screen, you’ll have to click on ‘More actions’ and then on ‘Documents’.
- Step 2: The following page is opening up. In the ‘Accounting documents’ part (pay attention: there is also an order documents part but it’s not this one) you’ll see that there is an invoice request for this specific order. By clicking on the little arrow on the right, you’ll be able to upload the invoice document.
- Step 3: This pop-up page will appear. Complete all the mandatory fields with the correct information. Upload the invoice and click on ‘Confirm’.
- Step 4: When you’ve uploaded the invoice correctly, the status of the request will change to ‘Issued’ (in green).
- Step 5: The invoice you’ve uploaded will be sent automatically by e-mail to the customer. Thanks for your cooperation!
OPTION 2: ALREADY AUTOMATIZED THROUGH API - UPLOAD OF AN INVOICE IN MIRAKL
- The current automatization has been done with OR74, which only uploads the document in “Order documents”.
A new feature has been activated which automates the sending of an invoice to customers, for this, you need to upload the document in Mirakl in “Accounting Documents” + send a notification to the customer automatically with the invoice attached, you have to switch to DR74.
DR74 = Upload an accounting document on an order. As soon as an invoice is uploaded that way, a notification is sent to the customer.
DR11 = List accounting documents requests / This API will be needed to activate the DR74.
In the DR74, you will see that the “RequestID” will be needed so it will be mandatory to use the DR11 to get those IDs.
What is needed to activate those automatic notifications at the same time as the upload : Replace the OR74 by the DR74 API.
